01 — Do You Know Me
Open in the dark. Let the room introduce the band.
We lit this from the top with a lot of fall-off — one hard source over the mic, everything else held at black. You only meet a face when it steps into the beam.
02 — The Handle The Blade
A body between the lamp and the lens — turned until it flares.
One tungsten head behind him, haze fed until the beam went solid, no fill anywhere. Then we swung the camera through the source — that flare is the lamp hitting the lens, not a filter.
03 — Real Thing
Eighteen seconds, no cut: the whole room in one breath.
We start on the control-room glass and push all the way to her close-up in a single move. The tubes and the warm window spills are carrying the room — what you see lit is what was lit.
04 — Gong Gong Bowl · Though Love
Push the back-light until it sings.
The hardest light in the room went directly behind her, aimed at camera, and we let it blow out. That bloom crawling across her profile is real flare doing its own grade.

05 — Don't Leave Me Hanging
The camera wanders home: guitar, bass, her eyes.
Handheld, one continuous wander: find the guitar against the white wall, drift through the bass, land on her eyes. The blocking was the light plan — everyone stood where their key already lived.
